What qualifications and registration do I need to teach in Victoria?

All teachers wishing to teach in Victoria need to be registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching which is the professional body that sets the professional standards for teachers in Victoria. At the VIT website registration information is available for teacher graduates trained in Australia and experienced teachers trained in Australia and teachers trained overseas.

St Patrick's Primary School in Kilmore is seeking a full-time Primary French teacher commencing term 3 2017. This is a 6 month contract with the possiblity of being extended for all of 2018.

Blackburn High School is seeking a French teacher commencing term 3 2017. This will be a full time position in term 3, teaching years 7 - 10, and then 2 days per week in term 4.

Gisborne VSL Centre is in need of a French Teacher/instructor at the Gisborne VSL Centre on Mondays to teach a small class of grade 1 to Year 7 students at beginners level.

From 12 June to 25 November on a contract basis. The contract will be highly likely to be renewed in 2018.

Mackillop College is seeking a full time French teacher starting in Term 3. Year levels 7 to 10. Currently the position is for terms 3 & 4 only, but potentially more. It is full time but part time would be considered.

Part-time teaching position Term 4 2017

Mentone Grammar is seeking an experienced French teacher for a part-time position in Term 4 2017.

The position is .63 a week  with Year 10, 11 and 12.  Year 12 students will finish school in week 3 which will then reduce the load. The position is over 4 days.
